Leonard Hobbins is an architectural graduate and licensed designer based in Whiritoa, New Zealand.

The New Zealand based practice offers architectural design services based on an intimate knowledge of local construction processes and environmental design,

re-imagining "ordinary" built projects as opportunities for vitality and critical rigour.

Leonard studied at the University of Auckland, his Masters thesis: Edge City explores mass media and branding as it relates to housing in Aotearoa. This research provides the conceptual starting point for designing buildings that respond to their social and political context employing aspects of kitsch, archetype, and consumer trends.

Leonard has lived and worked between Whiritoa, NZ and Los Angeles, CA where he worked at an architecture firm on a variety of project types.
