HOUSE
A sculptural house performs introspective exercises to temper the boundary between the street and the rural surroundings.
A twisting exterior corridor hides and reveals a central lightwell and garden.
The colours of the exterior claddings have been chosen to resemble plumage of the client's favourite native bird the Kōtare - NZ Kingfisher.
